About this Event
Our TryLax clinic is designed to allow newcomers to try lacrosse while learning the basics of the sport, have fun, and meet other kids in the community. The purpose is create a no commitment, low cost, quick  way for kids to decide if lacrosse is right for them. No equipment is needed but cleats are suggested. Experienced lacrosse coaches from around Louisiana will be in attendance to coach and guide the activities. Kids will be broken up by age group to learn about the game and the equipment used. We will rotate through a series of fun activities that help to teach the basics of the sport. By the end of the session the kids should have a basic understanding of groundball scooping, cradling, passing, catching, shooting, dodging, and team play.
