What is the gameplan to start a lacrosse program in the Zachary area?
We plan to work with USA Lacrosse and surrounding lacrosse programs to host several free clinics in the Zachary area in fall 2023, where boys and girls of all ages can come out and try lacrosse. Based on interest by age group we will begin to form teams and plan practices. If we do not have enough kids in one age group to form a team, no problem! All boys and girls, of all ages, will be welcome to practice. We will then work with the family and other area teams to find a place for kids to play on teams in competition. Our main purpose is to offer a safe and enjoyable environment for boys and girls to learn and play the game of lacrosse. As local interest grows, and the program grows, we will evolve accordingly. We are always open to suggestions on how to make that happen!
